SmartDental is integrated with dedicated software for digital imaging devices, such as Durr Dental VistaSoft, Durr Dental DBSWin, Planmeca Romexis, MyRay Iris, MyRay RayMage, Carestream, Gendex VixWin, Cygnus Media, Vatech Ezdent-i, Vatech EasyDent4, Satelec Acteon SOPRO, Instrumenarium CliniView, Sirona Sidexis, MediaDent and DIAGNOCam. Thanks to this integration, there is no need to open dedicated imaging software separately. Our software runs it and creates or updates and then opens the patient's card.

The main advantages of the integration are:

• taking full advantage of the comprehensive image processing capabilities, measurement tools, filters and many other functions of the specialized dental imaging software;

SmartDental dental software also allows you to directly open and edit DICOM files, without the need to use additional, expensive software.

The DICOM format was developed to standardize the exchange and interpretation data representing or related to diagnostic images in medicine.

Handling medical data in the DICOM format requires dedicated software, which allows for maintaining high image quality and enables the inclusion of additional information compared to classic graphic files (e.g. distances between individual elements visible in the image).
